The latest eJay offering is built with a few natty extras for those who want to take music production further. Techno eJay 4 is concerned with electronic dance music and thus contains 4,000 samples to play around with. The futuristic techno sound is reinforced by a robotic interface full of laser beams, neon glows and moving graphics. It looks impressive but finding your way around can be tough.

As well as the familiar audio editor, there are new inclusions, such as a Bass Generator for creating bass patterns, a virtual synthesiser and a vocoder, which allows you to combine your own typed text with a computerised voice.
